Part of a series in which I took random text messages from a previous partner of mine out of our conversation and placed them, as movie-like captions, onto romantically styled photographs.

With Valentine's Day having been around the corner, I decided to create this project as a mechanism for my own heart's healing. Finding the messages to incorporate into this project was both comical, painful and incredibly necessary. By forcing myself to revisit old conversations and feelings again, I could embrace the opportunity to express myself here through this series.
